Marc's eyes grew wide with shock from the stun of my words. Then that crooked grin of his, the one with the dimple that drives me insane, spread across his handsome face. My stomach twisted into a knot of horror. Part of me still could not believe I released him. The other desperate for the truth of his feelings. He is euphoric that he is no longer bound to me through the prophecy. We are not real. My stomach knotted tighter. Another tear streaked over my cheek as I pulled away, but Marc held firm, keeping me in his arms. With his finger, he caught the tear on my cheek as it slowly slid down my face and along my jaw. He sighed against me. In his deep voice, unashamed and for all to hear, “I have never loved you more than I do now.”
I apologize for my time lapse in posting. With the holidays and family birthdays, time got away from me. I am excited to say that Trinket Holder is still on schedule for release December 30, 2016!
